The Chicken Pageant is a BRAND NEW addition to the Old Home Days tradition. The Hollis Old Home Days Chicken Pageant is intended to be a lighthearted community event celebrating backyard chickens and the people who love them. This is not a breed or poultry exhibition. Participants are encouraged to showcase the personality of their birds through costumes, creativity, and fun.
The Pageant will be held rain or shine at 4pm on Saturday, September 19th on Nichols Field by the basket ball courts. Participants may be dropped off along the fence on Depot Rd at the time of the pageant. Parking is prohibited on Depot Rd and is the responsibility of the participant.
The emphasis is on community, laughter, and making memories for community members of all ages.
Registration is $10 per chicken.
